Intellectual Property Governance
Our bespoke workshop for intellectual property Governance helps boards apply their governance skills to intellectual property.
Our workshop is facilitated by an experienced patent attorney with governance experience who is driven by board member’s thinking. The outputs provided are an intellectual property agenda, intellectual property strategic direction, subcommittee agendas as needed where needed, and a reference framework for intellectual property use in common with other levels of the business.

Our bespoke workshop adapts a widely accepted commercial strategy framework for intellectual property.
A senior patent attorney with management experience facilitates an executive team in considering how intellectual property intersects with their existing commercial strategy and business planning. The outcomes provided are a clear understanding of intellectual property opportunities and risks in an existing commercial strategy, the provision of contingency plans, and an intellectual property strategy.
Intellectual Property Staff Culture & Capability Training
Our workshop, developed in-house and based on experience running large-scale intellectual property awareness programs, takes staff through enjoyable, engaging exercises to develop capability and awareness. We communicate processes that implement the intellectual property governance direction and intellectual property strategy developed in the board and executive workshops.

Innovation IP
We offer a program developed for the Callaghan Innovation (now MBIE) Innovation IP Stage One program, which applies our adapted commercial strategy framework. This program is a one-to-one, one or two-day workshop, depending on the specific modules selected.
Innovation IP – Light
We offer a one-to-many half-day workshop in which a group of participants work through exercises facilitated by a senior patent attorney. The worksheets enable participants to develop a business-specific intellectual property strategy. Look out for our free Innovation IP workshops held quarterly.
